About us

About our academy

Ziran Martial Arts has its roots in Ziranmen Kung Fu Academy, which was founded by Master Liu Deming in the mid-1990s. The academy was located at Melbourne Girls College in Richmond. In 2007, Brij joined Ziranmen Kung Fu Academy as a student and later became an assistant instructor in 2012.

As Master Liu relocated to New South Wales in 2015, Brij continued teaching in Richmond, but under the new name of Ziran Kung Fu Academy. In early 2020, Ziran Kung Fu Academy was renamed Ziran Martial Arts and relocated to Kew. The change in name signifies a broader focus, reflecting the school's commitment to continuing Master Liu's teachings while drawing inspiration from a diverse range of martial arts disciplines.
